About me:
I'm a professor in the Physical Education Department from Middle West State University (UNICENTRO), Parana, Brazil. I work in Physical Education course and in postgraduate in Education (PPGE) and in Comunitary Development (PPGIDC). I have a Doctorate degree in Campinas State University and spent a period studying in the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities from the Nova University in Lisboa – Anthropology Department. I have a Master's degree in Physical Education in Campinas State University. I graduated in Physical Education in Ponta Grossa State University. I coordinated the Epistemology thematic working group from Brazilian College of Sports Sciences (CBCE) from 2011 to 2013. I also coordinated the Postgraduate Program in Education (PPGE/UNICENTRO) from 2013 to 2015, and I headed the Physical Education Department (DEDUF/I/UNICENTRO) from 2021 to 2022. At this time I lead the Research Group in Education, Culture and Contemporaneity. My studies concentrate in Physical Education and Education, by focusing on social, anthropologic and epistemological dimensions of body education and body practices.
